What photos work best, and how long does it take?
Use a clear, well-lit, front-facing photo with the whole face in frame and no heavy sunglasses or face filters. One face per photo. Rendering usually takes 2 to 5 minutes, and you can leave the page — the result is saved in My videos. The mouth movement is a soft singing performance, not exact lip-sync to the lyrics.
Is this official, and are my photos private?
It is not official. Raindance AI is an independent tool with no affiliation to Dave, Tems, their labels, TikTok or the Raindance Film Festival. Your photos are private, used only to make your video, and you can delete them at any time. Only upload photos of adults, and only with their permission. TikTok also asks you to label AI-generated content, so turn that label on when you post.
